LIV Golf Indianapolis 2026: All Set for the Season Finale

 WESTFIELD, Indiana — August 19, 2026. The biggest stars of LIV Golf arrive in Indiana this Thursday as LIV Golf Indianapolis 2026 gets underway. The event marks the league’s final tournament of the season and will determine three major titles.

Final preparations took place Wednesday at The Club at Chatham Hills, where LIV Golf players joined Indianapolis sports legends and special guests for the traditional Pro-Am.

Competition officially begins Thursday, August 20. A total of 57 players will compete over four days of individual and team competition, with the LIV Golf Indianapolis individual title, the 2026 Individual Season Championship and the Team Championship all on the line.

Gates open to fans at 10:30 a.m., with the first-round shotgun start scheduled for 1:15 p.m.

The return of LIV Golf to Indianapolis has generated tremendous anticipation. Last year’s inaugural event at The Club at Chatham Hills recorded the league’s highest U.S. attendance, and LIV Golf is looking to build on the record-setting fan turnout achieved throughout the 2026 season.

Scott O’Neil Outlines the Future of LIV Golf

During his meeting with the media Wednesday, LIV Golf CEO Scott O’Neil outlined his vision for the league’s future with a simple message: “Complete, not compete.”

O’Neil said professional golf should move toward a new era of greater collaboration among tours and organizations, with the game and its fans once again at the center.

Looking ahead to 2027, O’Neil announced significant changes to LIV Golf’s business model, including a more player-driven structure in which players would hold majority ownership of their teams and regain a larger share of their commercial rights.

He also emphasized LIV Golf’s continued international expansion, with the goal of reaching new markets, attracting younger generations of fans, creating more opportunities for players and sponsors, and strengthening golf’s global presence.

This Thursday, Indianapolis once again becomes a global stage for professional golf. LIV Golf Indianapolis 2026 begins with one clear objective: to finish the season in spectacular fashion and crown its newest champions.
